A little background about me...
I grew up in a small town and went to college in Fort Worth. I met my husband and got married young. Through all the challenges of being young, married, in college, and figuring out life outside of my small town world, I learned that I'm passionate about helping people. That manifested into a career in Physical Therapy and then after having our son, an eagerness to help babies get more sleep.
Once you have a baby, sleep is one of those things everyone has an opinion on. Whether baby is sleeping or not is the 2nd or 3rd question people ask. Not everyone understands developmentally appropriate sleep expectations nor do they understand that kids aren't "good" or "bad" sleepers. Some kids are just naturally better at soothing than others and the others just need some help in figuring it out.
That's where I come in. I'm a certified baby & toddler sleep consultant who would love to help you learn the ins and outs of YOUR child's sleep specificially. What do you have to lose? More sleep?
I can assist with a variety of issues from setting your newborn up for healthy habits, to an age appropriate schedule, helping your infant fall asleep independently, toddler bed transition, dropping the pacifier, and keeping your preschooler in bed. I can ease the transition from bedsharing to sleeping alone in a crib and eliminate early morning wake ups.
